27th November 2004 Kite surfing: borth golf course Wind Direction: s then sw Wind Stength: 13 Surf / Sea State: messy Air Temperature: 9 Sea Temperature: 12 Weather: clouldy and squalls Max Speed: Distance Covered: arrived to find mark talking with daz and susie in their new van; at last they can call themselves real kitesurfers now! yep wind started to arrive about 12.30 ish, but big old tractor weather.after about half hour on the water ;gusty as hell, the wind started to pick up so came in for the 13.6 flat 10mtr airblast. what a great end to the day ,apart from the two sqaulls that came through,blasting up and down popping off the waves. came in just before it was getting dark and another sqwuall on the horizon heading our way. dangerous derek was getting ready for another of his ddark moments complete with head lights and lights on the leading edge of his kite! finished off the evening with a sess of good beer and conversation in the van. |
